"We are unbreakable, we're made of stone"

The Munich metal quartet TENSIDE released their new album "Convergence" on 13.01.2017, making it very clear that the band - after the much-acclaimed 2013 "Nova" longplayer - is back with the strongest album in their band's history.

With their sweaty performance, the band thrills audiences on the club and festival stages of the republic, including at Wacken, Summer Breeze and With Full Force Open Air, as well as on international tours throughout Europe, Russia or China (with a grand finale on the Midi Open air in front of several thousand spectators). In addition to support shows with greats like Atreyu, 36 Crazy Fists, Darkest Hour, Emil Bulls, Skindred and Soulfly, TENSIDE are also touring the clubs of the Republic alone. "We're unbeatable live," says vocalist Daniel Kuhlemann. "Listening to an album is one thing, but when you come to one of our concerts, you can get ready for something."

Far from trends and hypes, the band has decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Grew up in D. I .Y. and Underground, as a band, they shed blood, sweat, and tears to establish their own sound, both in the studio and on stage. In 2017, TENSIDE will again be on top.

For the development process of the new silver coin "Convergence" the guys took a lot of time to file new songs and to produce independently. Emil Bull's vocalist Christoph von Freydorf was again engaged as co-producer, who can also be heard with a vocal feature on the new album. The new album was mixed by Christoph Wieczorek, the Annisokay guitarist.

"Convergence" is undoubtedly the toughest TENSIDE record to date and yet a lot more variable compared to its predecessor. The new songs are varied and high quality, but always keep a clear guideline. The refined overall concept relies on great melodies and powerful riffs, paired with bitter-evil shouts, singalongs and spherical elements.

The lyrics are about keeping track of his goals, facing new challenges and fighting oppression. Also social issues as well as the acute situation of our time come on "Convergence" not too short. This is made clear by numbers like "New Slaves" or "Unbreakable".

Punctually at the beginning of the new year, the signs are on storm and TENSIDE will again start without compromise!
