This is my first custom drum kit and I am so happy I chose Spaun Drum Company to be the company to create it. I chose the White to Lime Fade with all white hardware. I also had a custom snare drum made. From start to finish, Brian Spaun stayed in touch with me to let me know the status of each process. Brian was also quick to answer any of my questions. When the kit was delivered, I couldn't believe my eyes... The kit looks amazing!!! It sounds awesome too!!! I couldn't be happier. Thank you again Brian Spaun and Spaun Drum Company for this over the top custom kit. If you are thinking about getting a custom kit, look no further. Spaun Drum Company is the best!!!

Best custom drums you could buy. Really, nobody else makes them this good. It has a great name aswell as with the customizability and meeting Brian Spaun himself because I happened to live nearby was absolutely cool. His ability to make the coolest drum sets ever is evident and I even saw a set he was building similar to one I plan to buy one day. All around amazing experience. My drum set is absolutely epic and I will buy more in the future and it is worth the money and wait. If you want the coolest drum money can buy, get Spaun drums. If you want anything else, go somewhere else. Thanks for my drum set

Absolutely beautiful drum, great craftsmanship and wonderful quality. Great turn around as well, an overall wonderful experience.

My only note would be there wasn’t a whole lot of communication, other than the initial ‘your order has been placed’ confirmation. After that the deal seemed to be ‘we’ll get on it when we have time and let you know once it’s been shipped to you’.
So a few months of radio silence was a little uneasy but it all turned out great! Snare that arrived was absolutely gorgeous!
I highly recommend, and will pass on my recommendation to anyone asking!

I use this kit when I play with my country band. I absolutely love how rich this kit sounds tuned lower and at low volumes. It's absolutely gorgeous as well.

I couldn't have been more impressed as a first-time customer with Spaun. They were very accomodating and produced an absolute stunner of snare drum for me. To the nines out of the box, spit polished, tuned, rarin' to go! Beautiful details abound, my ears are happy and I already want to do another one!

I own a clear 5.5x14 sandblasted and it rips! the CS clear head tensions right up. Highly recommend checking one of these snares out.

I was interested in a smaller kit that would be easier to load/unload and decided to give this one a shot. I play drums in a punk band and after playing and recording this kit I know it will work out great at shows.

I sprung for this custom-made 6x13 maple Tri-Skull snare and I'm really happy I did. I've owned a Spaun snare before and I know their craftsmanship is good so it was a low-risk decision at this price point.

First of all, the graphic is really, really cool. And I love the fact that it is on both the front and the back - that's a really nice touch.

The drum is responsive and has a really nice crack to it. Although I like to have it tuned high, It also has more depth to the sound than I might have expected which is likely due to the 6" depth. I'm a huge fan of 13" diameter snares because it is easier to position while playing.

The heads seemed decent enough right out of the package (manufactured by Evans with Spaun logos), but I had some new heads around so I replaced them straight away. I also put Canopus snare wires on it.

If I had any gripes at all, I think it may have been better if the tension rods were 1/8" longer. They weren't long enough to grab onto the lugs without putting a little English on it. This was particularly true of the batter side.

All in all, super happy with the look, sound and build quality of this drum for a remarkably reasonably price. Rock n' roll! \m/

I love this snare. Definitely a loud, cracking, cut-through-the-mix snare. It looks killer too. I’ve had lots of compliments at gigs.

I ordered my snare drum about a month ago and it already came in. It sounds and it already came in. Definitely getting a full custom kit in the future!

This thing has so much crack in it I call it the trap house.

I've got this exact snare! For a 13" it's definitely a great sounding snare in the deep fat range! AND it's sexy as hell! I get a ton of compliments on it! Again... Spaun knocked it out of the park!
