Our Jazz Custom drum kits and snare drums feature our 100% 8-ply Maple shell with or without 8-ply Maple reinforcement rings. Choose reinforcement rings if you want a shorter decay and higher fundamental pitch on your drums, without reinforcement rings if you want a more open, resonant sound with a lower pitch. Other features include our Classic Rounded Bearing Edges for a darker more subtle voice, Beaver Tail Lugs, Vintage Rail Mount, T-Handle Claw Hooks, and Vintage Stick Saver Hoops.
