Sweet Drum!

Ran across this snare while poking around in GC. It was high up on the top shelf (where it belongs!) but caught my eye. Got it down and put it though the pace (sensitivity-check; volume range-check; good projection-check; awesome looks-check). The shell is great without re-rings. Thin enough to vibrate without you having to beat the heck out of it, thick enough to provide good projection. Rim clicks are really nice, woody with no harshness. Rim shots are also sweet. Not a drum for the heavy handed unless you want to replace rims frequently. And, the price for this snare is very reasonable. I like it so much I have decided to pick up the matching drum kit--haha. Guess pricing the snare at $399 is an excellent marketing decision if anyone else decides to go for the kit after picking up the snare. Nice job Mr. Spaun!
